The highly anticipated second series of The Celebrity Traitors is set to begin on Thursday 1 October at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The award-winning psychological game show will air two nights a week, with episodes broadcast on Thursday and Friday evenings at the same time.
Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the celebrity edition sees famous faces gather in the Scottish Highlands to play a game of detection, trust, and betrayal, all in the hope of winning a cash prize of up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.

Companion Shows and How Claudia Chooses Her Traitors
Viewers can also look forward to accompanying content alongside the main series. The official video podcast, The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, returns to BBC One, BBC iPlayer, and BBC Sounds. Hosted by Ed Gamble, it will feature banished and murdered players, as well as previous celebrity and non-celebrity contestants, for debriefs and reactions to the latest betrayals. The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked begins on Thursday 1 October at 9:15pm, immediately following the main show on BBC One.
Additionally, a new programme, Traitor or Faithful? Claudia Decides, will be available on BBC iPlayer from Thursday 1 October at 9:15pm. This special insight will reveal how Claudia Winkleman makes her choices for the Traitors, offering viewers a more personal look at the players as she interrogates their intentions.
Success of the First Celebrity Series
The first series of The Celebrity Traitors, which debuted in October 2025, proved to be a significant success. It averaged 14.9 million viewers across its run, peaking at 15.4 million for the finale, making it the highest-rating episode for an entertainment programme since 2016. The companion podcast, The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, also achieved substantial engagement, driving over 13 million combined plays on BBC Sounds and BBC iPlayer, as reported by The Independent.
